I'm a stay at home mom to two awesome kids and I'm looking to use my background in accounting to help local businesses with their bookkeeping on a part-time basis. I'm currently serving as the bookkeeper for two local companies and have 8 to 10 hours per week available (more if work can be done remotely) to take on one or two more clients.
I've been using Quickbooks Online with my current clients, but I also have experience with the desktop version of Quickbooks as well as Great Plains and PeopleSoft accounting software.
Prior to taking time off to be home with my children full-time and then transitioning to part-time work, I worked full-time as a staff accountant at Keurig Green Mountain where I performed many different accounting functions, including being heavily involved in month, quarter, and year-end closes and other accounting projects.
