In terms of coronavirus, this is a relatively low risk job in a private home, with minimal personal interaction. It is very unlikely that I've been exposed to the virus, given that I've barely left my home in the last 6 months, due to a chronic painful joint condition. I walk just fine but cooking causes me pain as a result of this condition and physical limitations. I am seeking an experienced cook, familiar with vegetarian cooking, who can help me prep meals 1 or 2 times per week or month, 6 - 8 hours each time. You would really be making a difference in my life. Seeking someone with good knife skills and two years experience. Immediate opening. Schedule would include mostly Sundays (afternoon or eve) and/or Wednesday afternoon or eve. Pays $15.40- $ 17.00 /hour, based on experience, and is not under the table (paid by business check). Due to the pandemic, the pay is currently $16.94/hr. I will buy the food ahead of time and take care of all the meal planning. Located in Watertown. I eat mostly whole grains, beans, fresh veggies and occasionally fish or poultry. Prefer someone experienced at cooking bean soups and stews, along with other vegetarian dishes.
