An Mri Study: Teens, Mood, And The Brain

Description

Researchers at McLean Hospital are investigating factors that put young individuals at risk for developing depression. By participating, you and your child can help them better understand, prevent, and treat adolescent depression. If you have a child between the ages of 12 – 18 who experiences less pleasure or interest in the things they used to enjoy, you may qualify to participate in this research study. Your child can earn up to $327.20. Starting November 17, 2021 (no end date)

In the first session you will complete informational forms, a survey, and a clinical interview. The second session will involve surveys, a computer game, and an MRI scan. You will be asked to complete online and over the phone follow ups, in addition to returning for a clinical interview one year later.
