Students worry about where they will go to college. They take hard courses, study into the wee hours, get good grades, and do gobs of activities. As a result, the road to college is simply exhausting. Students dutifully go through the motions without ever really asking themselves, “why am I doing this?”

Dr. Montgomery encourages young people to focus more on the why.

Using compelling statistics, fine art, dance moves, a sing-along, and a geeky sense of humor, Dr. Montgomery communicates the message that continuing education—of whatever sort—is vital to lead satisfying lives in the 21st century. He inspires young people to think of education in a new way so that they can take firmer control of their own lives, solve the pressing problems facing humanity and our planet, and fulfill their purpose.

He also lays out the huge range of options for post-secondary education, preaches against the evils of student loans, and demonstrates why prepping for the idiotic SAT and ACT tests can be an exercise in empowerment.

This is a presentation that parents will want to attend with their students. The dinner table conversations sparked will help your family make some of the most important decisions you will encounter.
