Lexington Center Fall ArtWalk Returns Premier Art Exhibit announces a 6th year

Lexington Center Fall ArtWalk Returns Premier Art Exhibit announces a 6th year

The ArtWalk committee announces its sixth consecutive year hosting the town-wide art event that excites and delivers, this year with art adorning shop windows throughout Lexington Center from Columbus Day to Thanksgiving.
As in years’ past, artists from Lexington and surrounding areas are encouraged to submit work to the committee to be curated and displayed in retailer windows this fall. For those interested in applying, this art event has few limitations, so artists can submit creations in all different art mediums. The show displays a mix of 2D and 3D art and there are no size restrictions. All artwork from artists older than 10 years will be considered. Although not all artwork must be available for sale, artist contact information and pricing are displayed with the artwork. Some artists have successfully sold their displayed art, and often found new admirers of their work through the program.
Leading up to the Fall Artwalk, the Artwalk committee has kept busy. The committee "hosted" a summer "Block Party” where 4” square blocks were creatively decorated and displayed in town. More recently they worked with local artists and students to beautify the jersey barriers set up by the town, which created more outdoor seating and business areas.
With respect to present health guidelines, the Artwalk Guided Tour and Evening Reception that usually kicks off the event will unfortunately not take place this year. It was originally planned to coincide with the Lexington Chamber of Commerce’s Fine Arts & Crafts Festival which is now online. However, viewers can participate in a scavenger hunt allowing for individual and family enjoyment and movement about town, and those that complete the hunt will be entered into a drawing for a Lexington Chamber of Commerce gift certificate.
For more information about the event and to apply to display your art, visit the Munroe Center web site: or email
